This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website (daisigning.com) and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

• Contact information you provide — name, email address, and mobile phone number — when you request a signing, book an appointment, or contact us.
• Appointment and service details — the type of notarization or signing you request, dates, and related notes.
• Identity-verification information — collected and processed through our notarization platform (Proof) to verify signer identity as required for notarization (e.g., government-ID credential analysis and knowledge-based verification). This is handled on the platform under its own security controls.
• Documents you submit for notarization or signing.
• Payment information — processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• Website usage data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics and cookies used to operate and improve the site.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and coordinate notarization and signing services, schedule and manage appointments, verify identity as required by law, process payments, respond to your inquiries, send you transactional communications (by email and text message) about services you have requested, maintain the notarial records required by law, and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

Text messaging (SMS)

When you provide your mobile phone number in connection with booking or requesting our services, you consent to receive transactional text messages from DAIS — such as appointment confirmations, reschedule and cancellation notices, and coordination messages related to the service you requested. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can request help by replying HELP or emailing hello@daisigning.com.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected for text messaging is used only to deliver the transactional messages described above.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate our services or as required by law:

• Service providers that help us deliver our services — for example, our notarization platform (Proof), website hosting (Cloudflare), telephone and text messaging (Twilio), scheduling (Cal.com), and payment processing — each acting on our behalf and permitted to use the information only to provide their service to us.
• Legal and regulatory recipients when required by law, subpoena, or the recordkeeping obligations that apply to notarial acts.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data retention

As a Florida notarial service, we retain the audio-video recording and journal entry for online notarizations for the period required by Florida law (currently at least ten years). Other information is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law, and is then deleted or de-identified.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we minimize the sensitive information we retain. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information in line with industry standards and the platforms we build on.

Your choices

• Text messages: reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for assistance.
• Email: you may ask us to stop sending non-essential emails.
• Access and deletion: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to the notarial recordkeeping we are legally required to maintain. Contact us using the details below.
